Commissioned by KrausHouse to design a section of the world's first NFT basketball court. Several artists were brought together to create a unique piece of art in their own style to be placed on a physical basketball court, host to a 3v3 basketball tournament during NFT NYC 2022. That same court was then fractionalized into 1000+ pieces and sold as NFTs, allowing spectators to take a piece of the game home with them.

With the event being held in New York, I wanted my piece to really embody everything that makes The Big Apple one of the most interesting cities in the world. When ideating what direction to go, I knew I wanted one cohesive theme with multiple characters and I decided there is nothing truly more "New York" than a good 'ol pigeon, right? Each individual character is brought to life through its own version of cheeky nods to the city that never sleep and thus, "The Real Pigeons of New York" were born.
